If your days in the Old City are spent in museums and mosques, Victory Spa works as a place to end the afternoon. It sits in the basement level of a building on Mithatpaşa Sokak, in the Gedikpaşa–Beyazıt area near the Grand Bazaar, and is not attached to a hotel. The menu covers the Turkish bath with scrub and foam, around a dozen massage styles, a heated pool, sauna, steam room and private rooms. Prices are listed in euros: 30-minute treatments start at €35, and hour-long massages run from €65 to €125. Google shows 4.7 from 237 reviews, and the doors are open 10:00–22:00 every day.

Your first visit here

The Turkish bath with scrub and foam takes 30 minutes (€60); the Sultan hammam takes 60 minutes (€100) and combines scrub-foam, a foam massage and a clay mask. Clay and gold masks can be added for €10 and €20. Pool, sauna and steam room are part of the facilities, but the sections and whether the private rooms suit couples are not specified, so ask. At weekends booking ahead is recommended, though walk-ins are said to be taken depending on availability.

Fitting it into your Old City day

The spa is in Fatih, between Gedikpaşa and Beyazıt, in the Grand Bazaar area. On the T1 tram, the Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı stop is the nearest listed one, with Çemberlitaş and Sultanahmet further along the line; the walk from the stop is not given. Since it is open 10:00–22:00, a late-afternoon or evening slot after the museums and mosques is the practical choice. A 30-minute scrub fits a short gap, while a massage or the Sultan hammam suits an unhurried evening.
