Getting there

Karakoy has its own stop on the T1 tram line: from Sultanahmet it is four stops via Gulhane, Sirkeci and Eminonu, and Tophane is the next stop beyond. You can also come by Marmaray to Sirkeci and change to the tram. From the airport, take a Havaist bus to Aksaray, Beyazit or Sultanahmet and continue on the T1; ferries to Kadikoy and Uskudar leave from the Eminonu pier.
