If you are staying in Sultanahmet, note first that The Sunshine Spa is a long way from the Old City: it sits in Yenişehir, Pendik, around the Starport Residence in Kurtköy. It is a massage venue open daily from 12:00 to midnight. Google shows 4.8 from 267 reviews. Treatments, durations, prices and facilities such as a hammam or sauna are not stated in the information we have, so you would need to ask the spa directly.

Your first visit here

This is described as a massage venue, but the treatment menu, session lengths and prices are not specified, so ask before you go. Whether a hammam, sauna or pool is available is also unknown. We do not know if you need to book ahead or whether the spa serves women, men or both; it is worth asking when you get in touch.

Fitting it into an Old City trip

The spa is in Pendik on the Asian side, far from Sultanahmet, and our transport list has no route to it, so plan this as a separate outing rather than a break between museums. Opening hours run 12:00–00:00 every day, which makes a late afternoon or evening slot the realistic choice after your sightseeing. If you want a spa session close to the mosques and museums, a venue in the Old City will fit your day more easily.

What works well

  • Rated 4.8 on Google across 267 reviews, a solid base of feedback
  • Open every day, so there is no closed day to plan around
  • Late closing at midnight suits an evening after a day of sightseeing

Worth knowing first

  • Far from Sultanahmet and the Old City; none of the listed tram or metro stops serve this area
  • Services, prices, and whether it is women-only, men-only or mixed are not confirmed
