Beyoglu Hamam
Nova Spa Massage
If you are staying in Sultanahmet, Nova Spa Massage means crossing the Golden Horn to Beyoğlu, where it sits on Meşrutiyet Caddesi in the Evliya Çelebi neighbourhood. Its main practical point is the hours: Google lists it as open around the clock, all seven days. The listing gives a 4.6 rating from 75 reviews, and the place is categorised as a hamam. There is no website, so I could not confirm prices, the service list, separate men's and women's sections, or whether it needs a booking. Treat it as a flexible option for a bath after a day of museums, and ask about the details when you contact them.
What to expect on a first visit
The listing only says hamam, so the services, sections and facilities are not specified. Ask before you go what the bath includes, whether there are separate sections for men and women, whether a sauna or steam room is available, and what it costs. Also ask whether you need to reserve, although the place is listed as open at any hour.
Fitting it into an Old City day
It is in Beyoğlu, across the Golden Horn from Sultanahmet, so plan it as a separate trip rather than a stop between mosques. From Sultanahmet you can take the T1 tram towards Karaköy, or reach the M2 line, which serves Vezneciler, Şişhane and Taksim. Şişhane is the most likely M2 stop for this address, but check a map. Since it is open 24 hours, the evening after the museums is the easiest slot.
What works well
- Open 24 hours, every day, so you can fit it around a tight sightseeing schedule or a late evening.
- Central Beyoğlu address on Meşrutiyet Caddesi, a different side of the city from the Old City sights.
- Listed specifically as a hamam, so it suits a first traditional bath rather than a general beauty salon.
Worth knowing first
- No website, so prices and the list of services could not be verified.
- Unclear whether there are separate men's and women's sections, whether it is inside a hotel, or whether you need to book.
- Turkish bath
