Hamam
Misa Sauna İmalatı, Sauna Sobası , Buhar Odası Jeneratörü , Ev Tipi Sauna
If you are staying in Sultanahmet and looking for a hammam, this listing is not one to plan around. Misa appears to be a manufacturer of saunas, sauna heaters, steam-room generators and home saunas, based in the İkitelli industrial zone in Başakşehir. Nothing verified shows that it receives visitors for bathing or treatments, and its website could not be checked. It keeps office-style hours, Monday to Friday 08:00–19:00 and Saturday 08:00–17:00, with Sunday closed. Google shows a 4.9 rating from 131 reviews, but that rating says nothing about a visitor experience.
First time here: what to expect
Expect a workshop and sales business rather than a bathhouse. Services, sections, facilities and prices are not specified, so ask before you go whether showroom visits are possible. Whether there is a bathing area or any treatment is not stated either; please ask.
Fitting it into an Old City trip
The address is in İkitelli OSB, Başakşehir, far from Sultanahmet, and no tram or metro stop from the T1, M1A/M1B, M2 or Marmaray lines is given for it. It makes little sense as a stop between museums and mosques. If you only want a hammam during your Old City stay, choose a bathhouse listed in Sultanahmet or nearby instead. If you do have a business interest, weekday daytime or Saturday before 17:00 are the open slots.
What works well
- Makes saunas, sauna heaters, steam-room generators and home saunas, which may suit someone planning a sauna at home or in a hotel
- Regular weekday and Saturday hours, so a call or visit is possible outside the weekend
- Rated 4.9 on Google, which suggests customers are satisfied with the business itself
Worth knowing first
- Not a hammam or spa: no verified bathing, scrub or massage service for visitors
- Far from the Old City, in an industrial zone, and closed on Sundays
