If you are staying in Sultanahmet, La Wisteria Spa means leaving the Old City: it is in Şişli, inside La Wisteria Hotel, near Bomonti and Kurtuluş. Google shows 4.9 from 203 reviews, and the spa takes visitors from 08:00 to 23:00 every day of the week. What it offers is not stated. The hotel's website has a spa page, but it names no treatments, durations or prices. Whether it has a sauna, steam room, pool or hamam is unknown, as is any separation by gender. Treat it as a place to contact first rather than one to turn up at.

Your first visit here

The spa is inside La Wisteria Hotel at Cumhuriyet, İzzetpaşa Sok. No:56, Şişli. Treatments, sections such as sauna, steam room, pool or hamam, and prices are not stated, so ask before you go. Also ask whether women and men are separated and whether you need to book. If you have never been to a hamam, find out first whether this place offers a traditional one at all.

Fitting it into an Old City trip

Şişli is not in the Old City, so plan this as a separate outing rather than a break between mosques. Our transport data covers only the Old City lines (T1 tram, M1, M2, Marmaray) and gives no verified route to Şişli, so ask the hotel how to get there. The spa is open 08:00–23:00 daily, so you could finish sightseeing in Sultanahmet in the afternoon and go in the evening. Check the closing time for the last treatment slot.

What works well

  • Open daily from 08:00 to 23:00, so it can fit a late evening after a day of sightseeing
  • A 4.9 Google rating from 203 reviews is a strong signal for a spa that is part of a hotel
  • Located in Şişli, close to Bomonti and Kurtuluş, which suits a visit combined with time away from the Old City
